Yay, I am finally getting back to doing some scrapping. It's such a nice change. The layout I did came together pretty quickly. I am really happy with it. Mainly Fancy Pants products, as I was going to enter the FP design team comp, but I didnt feel that my work was good enough, so I chickened out at the last minute. Anyhow, this is one of the results.

Something cheery for a cold rainy day....

All Set
Well, I finally feel like things are sorting themselves out. The website has now been closed and the blog is making a start. Having the flu hasn't helped but I am feeling better now and things are settling down into a new routine. I think that all in all I have made a good decision and look forward to seeing where the future takes me. I want to spend a LOT more time doing some scrapping and focus on creating instead of working on the computer. I have some ideas for my entry into the For Keeps Awards for Excellence and that is my first goal. I am excited about getting back into it and finding the passion for it again.
Thanks Kell for a great day on Friday, it was so good to catch up with you, and I really wish we lived closer. I miss you, my dear friend :(

New Beginnings
I felt the need to change the look of my blog to reflect a new direction in life. I am removing the clutter and getting organised....on a LARGE scale!
Sadly I have decided to close The Crafty Cat Company at the end of April. It has taken me awhile to decide to do it, but I do feel like I am making the right decision.
Adrian and I have just started a new business partnership. Sheer Building Management is it's official title. We are going to build spec homes and build our empire :P
So i am about to enter a new phase of my life, with changes to be made! Although at times it seems overwhelming, it feels good to be doing it, so that indicates to me that it is the right decision. I want to have more time to scrap, instead of running the business. Although I still will have an ebay store (there is lots of stock you know!) it will mean more efficient use of my time.
I am also in the process of setting up a new blog, which I am very excited about! The Crafty Cat Classroom will be making it's debut, at this stage, in May. It will have kits available along with techniques and classes. So The Crafty Cat Company will live on...in case I change my mind ;)
It is quite a process to get all the aspects sorted and working smoothly, but once it's done I am confident that it will work for me and us as a family.
That's pretty much it for today....

Backyard Finally Done!
Ok....this one is for you Kell.
We have finally got a landscaped backyard. Very happy with how it has turned out. A nice relaxing outdoor area to entertain and enjoy those warm summer nights. Even when it's raining!

Slacker...well kind of
Well...what dramas! I had issues with password and login details with blogger, so I put it in the too hard basket. I have finally gotten around to sorting it out, and I am back. Yes Kell, I am a slacker :P. So essentially this is a test post. I will endeavour to come up with something to post on my blog that may be of some interest to the few people that read it. Just need to think for a little bit......

Nearly A Month Already!!
I can't believe it has been nearly a month since my last post. I would've sworn it was only a couple of weeks ago!
It has certainly been nothing to blog about, that's for sure.....Sick, Sick and Sick! Between Jonah and I being sick and essentially tag teaming it, I have done nothing except keep everyday things functioning,(eg, washing machine, dishwasher...) keep Jonah entertained while being sick, and keep Crafty Cat afloat.
I have however put a dent in the large pile of things that had been waiting to go on ebay. Money in my pocket, and lots of "stuff" out of my house, definitely a win win situation!
Thanks to dear Kell for the Jack & Abby goodness! I am all inspired to create my recipe mini album, with lots of ideas buzzing around in my head. It's the practical application that might backfire on me.
Well, that's it for me tonight, it's snooze time!

Nothingness...
This post is about nothing. I have just been caught up doing mundane boring stuff. Jonah has now had 2 weeks off school, with the flu/cold thing and that has thrown my plans out a bit. He is getting better, but very slowly.
I am still working on my FK's Award entries, but they will be in the post on Monday. Cos they have to go then or they won't get there in time. My ebay project, of clearing out my house is going well though. I have put a dent in the pile of stuff I had to get rid of. It is a very satisfying feeling getting rid of things, sending them off, knowing they are no longer taking up that space in my house. I don't know if it's my age or just me, cos I haven't always been like it, but having "things" makes me feel really overwhelmed and I need to get rid of it. I don't go shopping for "things", except scrapping stuff....I can never have too much scrap stuff, but general clutter in my house bothers me.
Although my house has been in a mess with the whole purging operation, as I have pulled all this stuff out to sell it, and feel the need to pile it up in spots, so I can see the pile dissapearing. Then the mess bothers me.....GO FIGURE!
I think that is enough rambling for one day....Have a good one
